NURSING CARE

Healing Hands Nursing Services, with the support of a multi-disciplinary team, will provide a safe and personalised care package for the patient in the care of their homes.

A unique Care Plan will stipulate the services needed to ensure the professional care of the patient
Weekly visits by Registered Nurses will ensure monitoring of patients health care needs.
Administration of self- and prescription medication
The performance of basic nursing procedures, e.g. monitoring of temperature, blood pressure and blood sugar
Basic wound care
Catheter care
Stoma care
Drip and port care
Liaison with the patient’s doctor on behalf of the family with regards to the patient’s health care needs
